Refund Policy

CostPlusIQ, a product of Ensoul Inc · Effective 2026-09-30

CostPlusIQ, a product of Ensoul Inc. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no recurring charges. You buy credits when you choose to, and they are spent by requests you make.

Unused credits

Refundable in full, in money, to the original payment method, on request, with no time limit and no fee. Email billing@ensoul.inc from the address on the account; refunds are processed within five business days. Credits do not expire. Refunds cover credits you paid for; promotional credits we granted for free are removed rather than paid out.

Credits you have already spent

Not refundable — the compute was bought and used on your behalf. Two exceptions, both automatic:

• We never charge for our own failures. Requests refused at capacity (HTTP 429) and requests that fail on our side (HTTP 5xx) are not billed at all.
• Billing errors are corrected. If our metering over-charged you, we refund the difference as CostPlusIQ credits, added back to your balance — that is the fastest way to make you whole, and the credits spend exactly like the ones you bought. Raise it within 30 days at billing@ensoul.inc, quoting the x-costplusiq-request-id from the response. If you would rather have the money back instead, say so and we will return it to the original payment method.

So the rule is short: a correction we owe you arrives as credits, and credits you bought and have not spent come back as money.

Invoiced accounts

Invoices are net 30. Query anything you disagree with before the due date and we will hold the disputed line while we reconcile it against our ledger and yours.

Chargebacks

Contact us first — we refund faster than a card network arbitrates. We keep per-request billing records for 7 years, so we can show exactly what was served and when.
